Al Hussein Fund for Excellence proudly celebrated the graduation of the first cohort of its Digital Makers Lab at King Abdullah II School for Excellence in Al-Muqabalein- Amman. The event marked a milestone in empowering young minds with the tools to transform ideas into real innovations.
Implemented by MenaLabs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Digital Makers Journey introduced students to the world of design thinking, prototyping and 3D printing. Throughout the program, students developed not only technical expertise but also critical 21st-century skills such as creativity, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving—all essential to building a brighter future.
Reflecting on this achievement, Dr. Ali Yaghi, HFE General Manager, stated: “Education should incorporate technical skills as well as scientific knowledge in order to enable young minds to excel in the 21st century. The Digital Makers Lab challenges young minds to innovate and equips them with the ability to turn challenges into opportunities.”
This first cohort of the project is only the beginning of a journey to spread innovation and creativity across Jordan’s schools, preparing students to lead the future with knowledge, confidence, and imagination.
